I'm so glad I found your post, I have the exact same problem you describe here (2000-2200 RPM loss of power) with CAM sensor fault codes on 1998 Land Rover Discovery. Already tried replacing CAM sensor (twice!). I'm new to LR's. Any recommendations for part brands: Bosch, Intermotor, or Standard look like my options?
