I love the idea of raising my own mount and parts of this are fun. But two back to back "Easter Egg Hunts" really kicks it off wrong. The parts where you actually interact with your skyscale are what we need more of. Less of the "get to this point and click on this item." I got up to riding skyscale without a griffon, rage quit, left for a few months, came back and got warclaw, beetle, and griffon. Then got my skyscale. As someone who did most of the skyscale stuff without a griffon I highly recommend getting the griffon first. It’s even more of a pain in the ass to jump around and get the skyscale eggs
Springer is one of the critical mounts to have in any place in Tyria, it's a must to have and use mount in lots of scenarios and the only time you stop using it is when you get Skyscale but till then, it's one of the most used mounts to reach any high places, T3 Springer gives you a higher jump, T3 Crystal Champion gives you an extra leap over
Skyscale is like a helicopter whereas the griffon is like a fighter jet. The griffon is arguably easier and faster to unlock. It also makes unlocking the skyscale easier. The griffon is just as useful as the skyscale but it takes more practice until you get good enough to actually make use of the griffon's utility effectively.
The Skyscale mount is coming to Guild Wars 2 in the game's next Living World story drop, Episode 6: War Eternal, which will be the final episode of the fourth season. There's no release date yet.
Yesterday after i finished the Achievment "New Friend" i went to Tyria to try it out. I could not use the Skyscale it in Tyria. So i went back to Soto and i did some more events thinking that it just might take some time. After that i logged out. Today i cant even use the Skyscale in Soto. So i cant play anymore contend ther.
