Engine Systems Fault message appeared on dash then showed Low Speed Mode. Massively reduced power and engine sputters. Garage read codes p2110 and p0607. P0607 is where a malfunction is detected in Engine Control Module.[engine control module ecm internal fault / on autel] P2110 is Throttle actua ive got the constant PAT flash light on my dash and the speedo still says engine systems fault and it wont start at all or even crank. 1.8 TDCI Mk2 Focus Ford
I have a 2007 2Ltr TDCI Ford Focus Diesel. From new it intermittently goes into limp mode and shows on the dash "Engine System Failure" with a red light showing and "ESP System Fault" with an orange light showing. This seems to happen when I accelerate heavier than normal. When the red light goes off the power resumes.
You can use the Lockwood dial plates which as far as I know are available for the Focus MK2 instrument cluster in black and white. Some companies can produce custom dial plates in every color and design you like but this can be pretty expensive. The Focus MK2 and MK2.5 instrument clusters become defective relatively often.

The Focus MK2/MK2.5 has a protection to disable most critical electronic systems when the battery voltage is not sufficient. It is a known fact that the PCM (and also several other modules) do not communicate when the battery voltage is below approximately 10 Volt.
