They seem to have brought that back with AC Revelations. In 2 and Brotherhood, they made the swordfighting so smooth from person to person where you could string together

The story is good enough to pay attention to but it’s the parkour that takes the main stage. While Ezio’s story ended with revelations, Assassin’s Creed III is the actual ending for the
AC Revelations has not aged well. I've been replaying AC games on this quarantine. I've been mostly impressed with how the games have aged, but Revelations was a real let down. The game play was too derivative. Maybe it is because I played brotherhood right before, but every good element is copied and pasted from that game and ac2.
